Our Goal
Maximize flexibility while ensuring our students receive personalized assistance from tutors who not only know the subject but are often alumni of the schools our students attend.
Our Tutors
Alumni tutors who have often even sat in the same classrooms as our students, they become not only teachers of the subject but mentors for the classroom.
Our Founder
John Carlos graduated high school as the Class of 2020's Valedictorian, scoring in the top 2–3% of SAT and ACT test-takers. He received scholarships at every university he applied to and graduated in December 2023 with his BBA in International Business from the second-best international business school in the U.S. He then scored in the top 5% of test-takers on the LSAT and obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Miami.
The Alumni Network
The ApexScholars Alumni Network provides high-achieving undergraduate and graduate students the tools and opportunities to share their secrets to success with the next generation of scholars by allowing them to tutor K–12 students. The networks we established with our partnered schools specifically match students with tutors who attended that school.
