We partner with schools to provide personalized academic support by connecting students with alumni who truly understand their educational experience.
Partnerships
By partnering with us, schools can ensure students receive the tailored help they need. We want to ensure that every student interested in tutoring is paired with a tutor who is also an alum of your school. This adds a new perspective to the tutoring process because not only can an alum tutor teach the subject, but they can also be mentors for the classroom, guiding your children about what it means to be a student at their school. Often alumni tutors have sat in the same classrooms or had the same teachers as the students they help. This creates a tailored tutoring process unmatched by other services.

Our Partners
Founded in 1959 by First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake under Pastor Marvin M. Gochenour, Westwood Christian School was established as a Christ-centered academic ministry. Since its founding, the school has remained committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, instilling strong Christian values, and providing students with an excellent academic education.ApexScholars and Westwood proudly established their partnership in 2024. Through this collaboration, ApexScholars delivers K-12 tutoring, SAT and ACT exam preparation, college admissions guidance and professional admissions exam proctoring. At the core of this partnership is our alumni-based tutoring model. We pair students with alumni who once sat in the same classrooms, learned from the same teachers, and understand the school’s academic culture firsthand. This shared foundation transforms tutoring into mentorship, rooted in familiarity, trust, and shared values.Every service is aligned with Westwood’s standards of excellence and character development, ensuring students receive individualized, high-impact support that strengthens performance, builds confidence, and prepares them for long-term success.Founded in 1975 by the late Rev. Robert Miller and the leadership of Southwest Community Church, King’s Christian School began as a small kindergarten with 32 students. Established in faith and prayer, the school was created to train and reach children for God’s glory. Nearly 50 years later, King’s continues its Christ-centered mission, growing in impact while remaining committed to academic and spiritual development. In 2025, ApexScholars established its partnership with King’s Christian School to strengthen and expand the school’s college admission exams preparation resources. Recognizing a growing need for structured test preparation and admissions strategy, we stepped in to provide dedicated SAT/ACT coaching alongside K-12 tutoring. Our approach goes beyond content review, we pair the students with coaches who then guide them through a self paced course. Through this collaboration, King’s students now have access to high-impact college admissions support as well as K-12 tutoring, ensuring they are not only academically prepared, but strategically positioned for competitive admissions. By integrating exam preparation with ongoing tutoring, ApexScholars has helped bridge the gap in college readiness while continuing to support students’ overall academic growth and confidence.
